Account Executive

As Account Executive, Abby is responsible for developing targeted results-driven marketing strategies for Moxie’s diverse client base.  This includes traditional outreach as well as focus on new media opportunities and social media.

Prior to joining Moxie, Abby worked as Destination Marketing Manager for the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau (YCCVB), York County’s official tourism promotion agency. Within that role, Abby researched, developed and implemented strategic marketing plans for each of YCCVB’s unique market segments, including leisure travel, meeting and conventions and sports. Responsibilities included developing results-driven print and online campaigns to promote partners across the hospitality industry, including area attractions, restaurants, hotels and retail locations.

Prior to her work with the YCCVB, Abby served as Communications Coordinator for WITF, Inc., central Pennsylvania’s public media resource. Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism from Shippensburg University.

What most excites you about your work and the contribution you can make?

I love the opportunity to work with companies, large and small, to develop marketing strategies that will make a direct and positive impact on their business, whether adding to their bottom line, lifting their visibility or building their brand image. Being able to work with so many wonderful professionals around the region on so many different projects makes each day exciting, presenting new opportunities and challenges around each corner.

 What do you love?

It’s all about family! I grew up in a close family where gatherings weren’t complete unless the house was as full as everyone’s dinner plates. I love every moment of sharing that tradition with my husband and daughter.

What is your favorite meal and/or snack food?

My guilty pleasure would have to be Chex Mix Muddy Buddies (Puppy Chow when I was growing up). Peanut butter, chocolate and powdered sugar…it’s perfect!
